The Rollins School of Public Health presents author Carey Gillam at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 15, for a discussion of her research and analysis of Monsanto's efforts to keep information on the dangers of Roundup from the public. Contained in her book, Whitewash, this research is important to the growing debate over pervasive pesticide use in our food system and environment. This event is co-sponsored by the Emory Department of Environmental Health, the Emory Office of Sustainability Initiatives, Environment GA, Georgia Organics and U.S. PIRG.
